VLADIKAVKAZ, February 19 (RIA Novosti) - An avalanche hit a construction site at the Zaramag hydroelectric plant in North Ossetia, leaving at least one person dead, a spokesperson for the rescue service of the North Caucasus republic said.
"According to preliminary information, an office has been destroyed. A security guard was killed, and his body has been recovered from the snow," press service head Vladimir Ivanov said.
He added that the fate of a bulldozer operator is still unknown.
