MOSCOW, January 31 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian Foreign Ministry has no information to confirm or deny Thursday's media reports alleging that asylum had been granted to the family of former Yugoslav leader Slobodan Milosevic.

Serb media reports said Miro Markovic and Marko Milosevic, Milosevic's widow and son, had received asylum in Russia.

"We have no such information," a ministry official said.

Milosevic led Yugoslavia into war and international isolation, culminating in the NATO bombing of the country in 1999.
