MOSCOW, March 25 (RIA Novosti) - President of Russia Vladimir Putin has conveyed his condolences over the death of Armenian Prime Minister Andranik Markaryan, the Kremlin press office said Sunday.
Markaryan, aged 56, died Sunday morning of heart attack.
Markaryan was Armenia's prime minister from May 2000.
In 1997, he was elected chairman of the Republican Party, which came to head the ruling coalition in Armenia in 2003.
