GROZNY, March 24 (RIA Novosti) - Four militants have been killed in Chechnya, the republic's law enforcement agencies said Saturday.
"A gunfight took place in a mountainous area in the Vedensky District between an Army reconnaissance squad and a group of about 10 gunmen," a law enforcement source said, adding four militants were killed in the exchange.
He said the other members of the illegal armed formation managed to escape.
He said there were no casualties among the federal servicemen.
