MOSCOW, June 30 (RIA Novosti) - President Vladimir Putin will hold an Internet conference on July 6, the Kremlin press service said Friday.
The Russian head of state will field questions from Russian and foreign Web users.
Questions on the Russian language segment of the Internet can be posted at the Yandex portal, www.yandex.ru, starting noon Moscow time (8 a.m. GMT) June 30.
The British Broadcasting Corporation has also set up a page for questions on its site at http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/talking_point/default.stm .
Both Yandex and the BBC are giving users an opportunity not only to ask questions but also to vote on questions already asked.
During his Internet conference, Putin will respond to questions selected by Yandex and the BBC based on their Web polls.
