MOSCOW, June 12 (RIA Novosti) - Two policemen were killed and four wounded late Sunday during two special operations in eastern Chechnya, a local police source said Monday.
A police sergeant died in a hospital after an exchange of fire with a group of militants in the Nozhay-Yurt district of Chechnya and an interior troops serviceman was killed in an operation in the Kurchaloy district.
The police reported several casualties among the militants and said the search for the remaining members of militant groups had continued.
