President Vladimir Putin is going to discuss implementation of priority national projects with the first deputy prime minister soon, the president said Saturday

SOCHI, May 27 (RIA Novosti) - President Vladimir Putin is going to discuss implementation of priority national projects with the first deputy prime minister soon, the president said Saturday.

"I want Dmitry Medvedev to report on all national priority projects that were launched recently, including in agriculture," Putin said at a meeting with Krasnodar Governor Alexander Tkachev.

Dmitry Medvedev, who has been touted as a possible successor to Putin, oversees the four priority national projects in education, health, housing and agriculture.

"The number of national projects should be limited and reasonable," Medvedev said earlier. "The implementation of the projects should follow the principles of a short term, precise indicators and an accurate management system."
