MAKHACHKALA, March 10 (RIA Novosti) - A senior Daghestani police officer was killed when an explosion hit his car in Makhachkala, the capital of the North Caucasus republic, a local emergency official said Friday.
Colonel Magomed Magomedov was a deputy head of the criminal investigation department of the Daghestani Interior Ministry. His driver was seriously wounded in the explosion and hospitalized.
