TEHRAN, January 8 (RIA Novosti) - Iran positively assessed progress in nuclear talks with Russia, an official spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry said Sunday. Hamid Reza Asefi expressed the hope that both parties would come to mutual agreement during their negotiations.
A Russian delegation arrived in Tehran last Friday to discuss the establishment of a joint venture in Russia to enrich uranium. The parties are also expected to focus on the construction of the Bushehr nuclear power plant in Iran and the prospects of bilateral nuclear relations.
