MOSCOW, December 29 (RIA Novosti) - Russian energy giant Gazprom suggested Thursday that Ukraine adopt market prices for Russian natural gas in the ongoing negotiations.
"The proposal to proceed based on former prices that were beneficial for Ukraine is ridiculous... The [market price] level now exceeds $250 per 1,000 cubic meters," Gazprom spokesman Sergei Kupriyanov said.
