BISHKEK, December 22 (RIA Novosti, Yulia Orlova) - National Security Service officers in the former Soviet republic of Kyrgyzstan have arrested four drug traffickers attempting to smuggle 19 kg of heroin into Russia, the service said Thursday.
The drugs were seized during a car search on the highway between the Kyrgyz capital of Bishkek and Osh, the country's second largest city.
The drug seizure is the largest in the country this year.
