KIEV, October 31 (RIA Novosti) - Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko has nominated incumbent Deputy Prosecutor General Oleksandr Medvedko for the post of prosecutor general, the presidential press secretary said Monday.
Yushchenko nominated Vasiliy Prisyazhnyuk, the deputy prosecutor general of the capital city of Kiev, for this post earlier in the day, but later revoked his candidacy.
