TBLISI, October 3 (RIA Novosti) - The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has ordered the Georgian government to pay 200,000 euros to a private Georgian company, a lawyer acting for the company said Monday.

Archil Kbilashvili said that from 1996 to 1998, the Georgian Defense Ministry failed to pay the company about $140,000 for seafood delivered on contract. Having lost its court case in Georgia against the ministry in 2001, the company filed a suit in 2002 with the ECHR in Strasbourg, France. The court ruled in the company's favor on September 27 of this year.

In the past year,Tbilisi has lost three court cases in the ECHR.
