STUTTGART (Germany), September 25 (RIA Novosti) - A documentary about the Beslan tragedy was presented at the Kinoblik festival featuring Russian, CIS and Baltic films in Stuttgart, Germany.
Citizens of Beslan shot by Temina Tuayeva and Vadim Tsalikov in May 2005 was already shown at the Moscow International Film Festival and won the first prize at the Window to Europe Russian film festival in Vyborg (the Leningrad region).
"It was my dream to make a film about my people, Ossetians, who display remarkable courage and preserve dignity and pride in the hardest and most tragic times," Tuayeva said.
She said the people who survived the terrorist attack on Beslan's school No. 1 were the main characters of the film.
"Our film has nothing to do with politics," she said. "This is a story of remarkable people who went through that hell."
