KAZAN, August 28 (RIA Novosti) - A passenger plane made an emergency landing in Kazan (the Volga region) after one of its engines experienced a technical failure, a Kazan airport official said.
"An engine failure caused the emergency landing," she said.
Tatarstan Airlines Flight 370 from Kazan to Moscow had to return to the Kazan airport Sunday. None of 65 passengers and seven crewmembers was injured in the incident.
The airport official said the plane would be replaced with another plane from the company's fleet.
