MOSCOW, July 17 (RIA Novosti) - The Moscow subway plans to commission new improved and more comfortable trains this year, the subway press service said Sunday.

The new trains differ from presently used ones both technically and visibly. The Rusich gray-and-blue colored trains are decorated with the Moscow emblem and two blue strips. They have a stainless steel body. Cars are equipped with smooth handrails designed for passengers of different heights, comfortable anti-vandal seats, forced ventilation and automatic heating systems.

"Rusich trains were specially designed for open lines. To keep people in comfort in winter, the new cars have heat sensors. If the temperature falls below 17 Celsius, the heating system will be switched on automatically," said the press service.

The new cars will have 60 seats and will be able to carry 370 people each. Indicator boards have been installed inside of the cars to inform passengers of the stations they approach. The press service said the new cars will be commissioned in late August.
