BRUSSELS, June 9 (RIA Novosti) - Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov came out for military operations in Afghanistan to suppress terrorists.
Any NATO defense minister will reaffirm the information that Afghanistan is a hotspot on the map of terrorism and extremism, Ivanov said at a press conference in Brussels.
"Any defense minister will confirm that there are terrorist training centers and prohibited terrorist organizations in Afghanistan," he added.
According to Ivanov, further military operations should be carried out in Afghanistan to eliminate terrorists.
