KIEV, May 27 (RIA Novosti) - Ukrainian First Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Kinakh came out against the aggravation of political relations with Russia, Novosti-Ukraine agency said on Friday.
"Russia is a strategic partner of our state," Kinakh stressed.
According to him, "join projects and formation of industrial and financial groups and trans-national companies in the spheres of energy, transit, cargo transportation, engineering, aircraft building, agriculture, metallurgy and mining" are among promising trends of Russian-Ukrainian cooperation.
"A mighty trade and economic and investment potential in Russian-Ukrainian relations needs bolstering and developing," Kinakh said.
"Both Russia and Ukraine have enough wisdom not to destroy previous achievements and to promote cooperation between our countries and nations on the basis of mutual trust," the vice premier added.
