MOSCOW, May 13 (RIA Novosti) - Law enforcers are getting ready for an assault upon the office of the regional administration in Andizhan, a source in the law enforcement bodies told RIA Novosti on the phone.
In spite of the heavy shower, rebels did not let women and children go. They form a 'living shield' around the building.
According to the source, law enforcers do not admit civilians to downtown Andizhan where the administration office is situated.
Formerly, a spokesman for Uzbekistan's Interior Ministry reported RIA Novosti on the cease-fire in Andizhan.
In his words, the law enforcement bodies lost nine men killed and 34 wounded.
