MOSCOW, April 20 (RIA Novosti) - On Wednesday Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Victor Yuschenko discussed by telephone practical matters of cooperation between the two countries.
"During the conversation, the heads of state touched upon practical questions of bilateral cooperation above all in the trade-economic and fuel-energy spheres", the Kremlin press service reports.
"The Ukrainian president informed of the plans of the forthcoming meetings with the heads of a number of big Russian oil companies for the purpose of finding common, mutually-acceptable market-oriented solutions of the present problems", reads the communique of the Kremlin press service.
