MOSCOW, April 18 (RIA Novosti) - French pilots of the Normandy-Neman air regiment will visit the Russian regiment bearing the same name in the Far East, press officer of the Russian Air Force Alexander Drobyshevski told RIA Novosti.
"On Monday night a plane with a delegation of French pilots, deputies of the Moscow City Duma, veterans of the Great Patriotic War and the Afghanistan war left the Zhukovski airfield near Moscow for the Far East", Drobyshevski said.
To him, the French pilots will inspect the Russian air regiment Normandy-Neman in the settlement of Galenski near Ussuriisk and fly Su-25 jets.
The delegation will also visit a marine brigade of the Russian Pacific fleet.
