MOSCOW, May 21 (RIA Novosti) - Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov does not plan any reforms in the government structure in the near future.

Commenting on the formation of the Ministry of Information and Communications, the premier said, "This is an important sphere, which should be independent".

The ministry should achieve the level of high technologies, Mikhail Fradkov told journalists on Friday.

"We formed the ministry of high technologies and raised its status," he said.

According to him, the original Ministry of Transport and Communications was awkward too big and difficult to manage. It caused the further separation of ministries, Mikhail Fradkov added.

The Prime Minister highly assessed professional qualities of new minister Leonid Reiman. "He is an efficient man understanding real economic processes," the premier noted.
