PARIS, May 13 (RIA Novosti) - Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Walter Schwimmer is to pay an official visit to Moscow from May 14 to 15 at an invitation from the Federation Council (the upper house of Russian parliament).
Mr. Schwimmer is to hold talks with Russian delegates to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, human rights envoy Vladimir Lukin and the Russian President's advisor Anatoly Pristavkin (the former head of the pardon commission under the Russian President), the Strasbourg headquarters of the Council of Europe told RIA Novosti on Thursday.
They are to discuss the implementation of programs of the Council of Europe in Russia.
