DRUG COURIER ARRESTED

MOSCOW, May 13 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian drug-enforcement agency arrested Enkarbek Bukayev (b. 1969), who had sold 949.08 grams of heroin to one of its operatives, early this May. This was disclosed to RIA Novosti here today at the national drug-enforcement agency's Moscow department.

In early May, we received information to the effect that a visitor from Central Asia was trying to sell a large heroin batch at $10 per gram, a press release, which was issued by the agency's information and public-relations department, reads in part.

A subsequent stake-out led to Bukayev's arrest.
