ABU DHABI, April 4, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov and Deputy Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Saturday discussed bilateral relations between Russia and the UAE and ways to develop them.
The meeting also touched upon different international problems, the local news agency reported.
Mr. Luzhkov arrived in the UAE with a working visit, heading the Moscow City government's delegation to attend the international investment forum Moscow - Invest 2004 held in Abu Dhabi.
The forum is attended by heads of Russian federal ministries and Russian and UAE businessmen. It is organized by the Moscow International Business Association and the UAE Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The forum seeks to establish and develop contacts between the two countries' business circles in different areas of economy, services and investment, as well as to promote the image of Moscow and Russia in general in the UAE.
