ST. PETERSBURG, April 4, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - President of Yemen Ali Abdullah Saleh on Sunday arrives in St. Petersburg with a private visit.
His airplane will land in the city airport of Pulkovo, RIA Novosti learned from the St. Petersburg administration press service. There he will be met by city governor Valentina Matviyenko. They will talk at the airport.
On Sunday evening the president will visit the famous St. Petersburg area, Petrodvorets. This is a palace ensemble, which was a residence of Russian Emperors.
On Monday, April 5, Ali Abdullah Saleh will visit the Peter and Paul's fortress, the State Hermitage (one of the world's largest art and historical museums) and the Russian national library.
On Monday evening the president will leave for Moscow. His working visit to Russia will start on April 6.
