MOSCOW, March 19, 2004. (RIA Novosti). The Russian Central Election Commission will sum up the official results of the Russian Presidential elections at a session on March 23, the commission's press service told RIA Novosti on Friday.
"The commission has received final protocols from election commissions of 75 out of 89 Russian regions and all the polling stations abroad," the press service said. The remaining protocols will be received on Saturday.
Incumbent President Vladimir Putin won a landslide victory on March 14. According to preliminary results, he polled 71.2%.
