MOSCOW, March 19, 2004. (RIA Novosti) -- Chechen refugees living in tent camps in Ingushetia (a republic in Russia's Southern Federal District bordering on Chechnya) can come back, Chechen Prime Minister Sergei Abramov told a press conference on Friday.
"All conditions for their returns have been created in Chechnya," he said.
The Chechen government is to focus on the payment of compensations for the lost houses and property, he noted.
Speaking about any attempts of pressure on refugees, Sergei Abramov said that this process is controlled by law enforcement bodies.
