MOSCOW, March 17, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - On March 27, the Cosmos Hotel will host the World Acrobatic Rock 'n' Roll Cup. Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov signed a relevant order, the Moscow Physical Culture and Sports Committee said.
The competitions are held to promote physical education and health to the children of Moscow and preserve and develop the traditions of rock 'n' roll acrobatics in Russia. The competitions are to demonstrate the creative potential of Russian acrobatic rock 'n' rollers.
