MOSCOW, March 15, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - Gerhard Schroeder, Germany's Federal Chancellor, will pay a routine visit to Russia early next month, he said to President Vladimir Putin in a telephone conversation made on German initiative.
The conferees discussed prospects of bilateral contacts as related to the upcoming visit. Mr. Schroeder congratulated President Putin on a landslide victory in yesterday's election, and pointed out how many had voted for the incumbent, reports the Kremlin press service.
