MOSCOW, March 15, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - Vladimir Putin sees his victory in the presidential elections as an advance for himself and the government.
"I'd like to emphasise that the outcome of the elections is definitely an advance for me and for you," Vladimir Putin said to the key ministers of the cabinet at a meeting on Monday.
"This outcome (of the elections) is a reflection of citizens' hopes for our joint and efficient work," he noted.
At the March 14 elections, Vladimir Putin won 71.2% of votes.
