ROME, March 15, 2004. (RIA Novosti) -- A week of the Russian language and culture has started in Italian schools.
Lessons and lectures on the Russian language, literature, culture, science, history and social issues, roundtables, theatre performances and exhibitions will be held at 120 Italian schools, the Italian Education Ministry reported.
A televised conference between the Italian Education Ministry and the Russian Humanitarian University will take place on Wednesday, March 17th. Representatives of the Russian and Italian Education Ministries and Russian and Italian schools will participate in it.
In addition, 100 Italian schoolchildren will go to Russia and 100 Russian schoolchildren will go to Italy.
