KHANKALA, March 15, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - Three federal servicemen were killed and 12 were wounded by an explosion in Chechnya, a source in the Joint Grouping of Troops in the North Caucasus reported.
"On Sunday, at 12.30 p.m., at the Alleroy settlement [the Kurchaloyevsky district] an unknown device exploded in an Ural truck carrying Russian Defense Ministry servicemen," the source told RIA Novosti.
