MOSCOW, March 14 (RIA Novosti). As of 12:00 Moscow time, 78.6% inmates (75,187) of pre-trial detention wards have cast their ballots, Ministry of Justice spokesman Yuri Kalinin said at a briefing in Moscow. He said 268 electoral districts were formed in the pre-trial detention wards, where 125 observers, candidates' campaign representatives and journalists are monitoring elections.
It is expected that 95,690 people will cast their ballots in the wards, said Kalinin. As far as he knows, no incidents have been registered there.
