    MOSCOW, March 13 (RIA Novosti) - State penitentiaries of the Russian Justice Ministry are ready for the presidential elections, the Main Penal Administration reported.

    According to its data, about 150 polling stations will be open at pre-trial detention centers. Over 90,000 (more than 50%) convicts have the right to vote. They have already been provided with all papers needed for voting.

    As of March 12, 2004, the penal system of the Justice Ministry consisted of about 300 pre-trial detention centers, where suspects, the accused and convicts are kept.
