MOSCOW, MARCH 12, 2004. (RIA NOVOSTI). CIS observers will monitor the presidential elections in 70 constituent members of the Russian Federation to be held on Sunday, March 14, said CIS executive secretary and head of the CIS observers' mission Yuri Yarov.
According to him 231 representatives from 12 CIS states will supervise the elections.
The observers' mission includes representatives of the CIS executive committee, the Inter-parliamentary Assembly, central election commissions and foreign ministries.
