By the president's order the newly established Federal Tariffs Service will be controlled by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.
The Ministry will also take command over the Federal Service of State Statistics, the Federal Customs Service, the Federal Agency of Real Property Cadastre (including land cadastre), the Federal Agency for State Reserves and the Agency for Federal Property.
Besides, the ministry will control the Russian Federal Property Fund.
At the same time the ministry will relinquish control over tourist activities and the trade inspection, the latter coming under the Ministry of Labour and Social Development along with the Federal Service on Human Welfare and the Consumer Market.
In this connection Gref announced that the structure and schedule of the Ministry will be modified.
One monitoring body performing all the functions of control over the consumer market is believed by the official to be a progressive measure.
