MOSCOW, March 9, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - The reduction of number of ministries and departments in the structure of the new government is a proof of the administrative reformation in action, State Duma Vice Speaker Artur Chilingarov disclosed to a RIA Novosti correspondent. According to him, the structural reformations in the government are positive.
"There will be fewer officials in the country and therefore more responsibility for the work," Mr. Chilingarov believes.
At the same time he stressed that the wide representation of the United Russia in the new cabinet in the persons of Aleksander Zhukov, Sergei Shoigu and Aleksey Gordeyev proves that "the United Russia takes the lion's share of responsibility for the activities in the government."
