MOSCOW POLLING STATIONS READY FOR THE ELECTIONS

MOSCOW, March 9 (RIA Novosti) - Moscow polling stations are ready for the March 14 elections.

The Moscow Election Commission told RIA Novosti that the territorial and district election commissions are supplied with everything necessary for the elections: polling stations have been furnished, telephones have been installed, and all of the stationery, advertising and information materials as well as the voter's lists have been delivered. Members of the election commissions are in the process of fulfilling the final voting protocols.

All 3,216 polling stations in Moscow will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on March 14. Muscovites who will be away from their residences have until 6 p.m. of March 13 to turn in a special document that enables them to vote somewhere else. Muscovites unable to go to the polling stations for health reasons can vote at home. The municipal assembly deputy elections will be held earlier if needed.

On March 14, the presidential elections, the final stage of the Moscow Duma elections and municipal assembly deputies elections will be held in Moscow.
