MOSCOW, March 1 (RIA Novosti) - The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation obliged the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Russia to reconsider the complaint of presidential candidate Irina Khakamada over violations of the election legislation, in her view, by the mass media.

On February 20 the CEC refused to satisfy the complaints of Irina Khakamada and presidential candidate Nikolai Kharitonov who qualified the coverage by the federal TV channels of Vladimir Putin's meeting with his authorized representatives on February 12 as the breaching of the election legislation.

As Danila Katkov, an authorized representative of Irina Khakamada, told RIA Novosti, while passing such as a decision the CEC was to have issued a relative resolution on refusal to open a case.
