MOSCOW, March 1, 2004 (RIA Novosti) -- Russia's Finance Ministry can submit its proposals on the tax reform immediately after the appointment of Prime Minister, said Alexei Kudrin, acting vice-premier, at the president's meeting with the Cabinet members.

"As soon as the new Prime Minister takes office, we shall be able to submit our proposals to the government and the State Duma," Kudrin added.

However, as he noted, these proposals are to be tied with budget revenues and expenditures.
