MOSCOW, FEBRUARY 27 (RIA NOVOSTI) - The Prosecutor General's office suspects Vladimir Malin, Federal Property Fund president, of abuse of office with aggravating consequences, report office PR.

He has been indicted on a criminal case of Apatit Co. stock sale and abuse of power by fund functionaries as an amicable agreement was made with Volna Co. The prosecution finds Apatit property badly undervalued.

Independent experts evaluated Apatit assets at $15 million - the sum involved in the Volna agreement. The money was transferred to the fund, which, in its turn, transferred it into the federal purse. The prosecution also doubts whether the fund was competent to make the agreement, says Vladimir Zelentov, the Property Fund chief of PR.

Vladimir Malin was indicted on allegedly misappropriated 20 per cent Apatit stock. Mikhail Khodorkovsky, former proprietor of Yukos, and Platon Lebedev, Menatep bank president, were previously indicted on the same case.
