MOSCOW, February 26 (RIA Novosti) - Russia sent humanitarian aid to the Abkhaz population (Abkhazia is a self proclaimed republic on Georgian territory) in connection with the hard food situation there.
A railway train with grain was sent to Abkhazia, RIA Novosti was told in the Russian emergencies ministry.
The train is to arrive in Abkhazia on Friday.
