KHABAROVSK, February 26, 2004 (RIA Novosti) - The final choice of a tax system is to be made by a new prime minister, according to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"The government has drafted different scenarios of the tax system development in the short term. It goes without saying that the final choice of the scenario must be made by a person, whom the State Duma (parliament's lower house) will appoint Prime Minister, which will hopefully take place shortly," the president said at a conference in Khabarovsk, regional centre in the Far East.
