MOSCOW, February 18, 2004. (RIA Novosti). Russian President Vladimir Putin has returned to Moscow.
On Tuesday he observed the Northern Fleet exercises on board the Arkhangelsk submarine. After that, the head of state flew to Plesetsk space center and held a meeting with commanders of the Russian Space Forces. On Wednesday he observed the launch of the Molniya-M (Lightning) carrier rocket, which took a military communications satellite to the orbit.
