SEVEROMORSK, FEBRUARY 17 (RIA Novosti) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has thanked the crew of the Arkhangelsk missile cruiser submarine for service.
After the sub got berthed at the pier, commander Vladimir Volkov, Captain 1st Rank, reported to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief on the end of the cruise.
The president thanked the crew.
Keeping up the tradition, the crew has given the president a model of the sub and Vladimir Putin, in turn, gave the sailors a picture of the Kremlin. After that, he had a photo taken together with the crew.
