KALININGRAD, February 12 (RIA Novosti corr. Anatoly Nilov) - Germany's Vice Chancellor, Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer will open Thursday Germany's consulate general in Kaliningrad.
The Russian foreign ministry mission in Kaliningrad said Fischer will hold a meeting with regional governor Vladimir Yegorov. The ceremony of introduction of German Consul in Kaliningrad, Cornelius Sommer is scheduled for 11:00am Moscow time; it will take place in the German-Russian House.
The program of stay of Fischer in Kaliningrad also includes laying flowers to the grave of Immanuel Kant and the inspection of the restored gothic Cathedral. At 1:30pm Fischer will fly to Moscow.
