GROZNY, February 11. /RIA Novosti correspondent/ -- RIA Novosti was told in the Interior Ministry of Chechnya on Wednesday that six servicemen of the Russian Federation's Defence Ministry were injured as a result of an explosion of a motor vehicle in Chechnya's capital.
"The blast occurred at approximately 1.00 p.m. on the day before. A mine went off under the passing by UAZ automobile belonging to the military commandant's office," the Interior Ministry representative said.
According to him, the contract servicemen from a commandoes company, who were in the automobile, were wounded and hospitalized.
An investigation into the explosion is under way.
