MOSCOW, February 6, 2004 (RIA Novosti correspondent Yelena Glushakova) -- According to Azeri President Ilkham Aliyev, Geidar Aliyev's policy on the support for the Russian language and culture in Azerbaijan will be continued (Geidar Aliyev is Ilkham's father and predecessor).
"We shall always respect the Russian language and culture," Ilkham Aliyev told a press conference in the Kremlin on Friday, following the talks with Vladimir Putin.
On his part, the Russian leader assured him that "Moscow highly values Baku's policy on the Russian language and culture".
