MOSCOW, February 6, 2004 (RIA Novosti) - In the wake of the Friday explosion in the Moscow subway, security is being tightened in transport.

Plus, security at important facilities and also on trains, at stations and railway stations will be raised.

Security will be intensified on trains carrying explosive substances, at stops and railway stations where dangerous substances are loaded or unloaded.

The state civil aviation service has also ordered additional security measures onboard aircraft. According to its head Alexander Neradko, the installation of additional security equipment at the entrance to airports and to aircraft was under consideration.
